Hugo, Mika and Rosy Are Canadians!

After an 18-hour journey aboard two different flights, Hugo, Mika and Rosy have safely arrived in Canada. It was a long trip, but their new lives have already made every mile worthwhile.

Rosy was found nearly two years ago beneath rose bushes in a remote region of Azerbaijan, with a bullet lodged in her spine. Today, she has beautiful rose bushes just up the street from her very first real home.

This incredible journey was made possible by the generosity of our donors, supporters and flight volunteers. Thank you to everyone who believed that Hugo, Mika and Rosy mattered, refused to leave them stranded, and never gave up hope that they would one day have safe homes and loving families of their own.
