Meet Pondoke! This loving boy has come all the way from Cairo, Egypt in search of the forever home he’s always deserved. After everything he’s been through, Pondoke is finally getting his chance to leave the past behind and start a new chapter filled with compassion, care, and joy.

Pondoke’s story is one of true survival. He was rescued from a heartbreaking situation where people were trying to harm him with pellets. Thanks to timely intervention and dedicated care, he was given a second chance. He underwent surgery to remove dangerous fragments, and with continued treatment and laser therapy, his walking has been improving more and more every day.

Pondoke is a 2.5 year old Baladi mix pup weighing about 51 pounds. He has a gentle, loving nature and a medium energy level. He enjoys companionship and playtime but also appreciates calm, relaxed moments with his people. He gets along well with other dogs, is great with people and kids, and would make a wonderful addition to many types of families.

He doesn’t need to be the only dog and would likely enjoy a canine companion, though he’ll be just as happy being your devoted best friend.

He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, so he’s fully ready to begin his next chapter.

After everything he’s been through, Pondoke deserves a home where he will be safe, cherished, and unconditionally loved.
