Meet Paco, a 2-year-old Corgi that comes all the way from Azerbaijan, a former Soviet republic where countless animals are left to fend for themselves without protection or care. We rescue these deserving dogs and fly them to Canada so they can finally experience the safety, love, and happy future they deserve.

Paco is one of those rare dogs with an almost flawless character. He is happy, playful, affectionate, and wonderfully easy to live with. He loves a good game of ball and would be thrilled to have a family willing to keep his supply well stocked.

What makes Paco especially lovely is how easily he matches your energy. If you want to play, he is ready. If you are having a quiet day, he is perfectly happy to settle nearby and simply keep you company.

Paco does not need constant entertainment to be content. He is very happy sitting close to you, following you from room to room, and just being part of whatever is going on. He also seems to have reached the charming conclusion that all people are wonderful.

He gets along well with other dogs and cats and is also wonderful with children. Paco is a favourite among the school groups who visit the shelter, happily soaking up their attention and affection.

At two years old, Paco has a beautiful balance of playful energy and calm companionship. He can chase a ball with you one minute and quietly curl up nearby the next. More than anything, he simply wants to be included.

Right now, Paco is living in a shelter thousands of kilometres from the home we hope to find for him. He deserves the chance to trade shelter life for something quieter and more permanent: a family to follow from room to room, people to adore, a well-stocked supply of balls, and a place where he finally belongs.

Paco's adoption fee is $2,000 USD, which reflects the considerable cost of preparing and transporting a rescue dog from Azerbaijan to Canada.
