Mamba

Gorgeous and sweet Mamba’s journey began in Azerbaijan - between Iran and Russia — a place where far too many dogs are left to fend for themselves on the streets. Luckily, Mamba came to the rescue before anything bad could happen to her. She was one of the lucky ones! However, she’s very much in search of the loving human she’s always deserved.

At just 2½ years old, Mamba is the definition of a soft soul. Very affectionate too. She leans toward the submissive side and carries herself with quiet but confident sweetness. She loves belly rubs (see video!) and happily soaks up affection, but doesn't demand it. Her love is warm and patient, not pushy. Though she does like being the only dog so she can get all the attention.

Mamba has been tested with cats and, while curious, she is respectful and non-aggressive (see video). She has also been around children and has done beautifully (see video). She shows no food aggression and is well socialized overall.

While she gets along with other dogs, Mamba would truly blossom as the only dog in the home, where she can fully relax and enjoy being the center of her person’s world. We’re looking for an active home — ideally someone who works from home, is retired, or a stay-at-home parent — who can give her the companionship and connection she thrives on. In return, she will be an incredibly loyal, loving, and devoted companion.

Mamba is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and weighs 74 lbs.

Mamba’s adoption fee is $1000 to help defray her high international transport costs.
