Dana 🇺🇸

Meet Dana, who is a beautiful German Shepherd and comes all the way from Baku, Azerbaijan, a former Soviet republic where countless animals become victims to serious accidental injuries or human’s brutality, and are left to fend for themselves without protection or care. We rescue these deserving dogs, help them to heal and recover, and fly them to US, so they can finally experience the safety, love and happy future they deserve.

Dana was found 2 years ago in an unofficial shelter, from where she was rescued as one of 35 dogs. The conditions those dogs were kept in were unimaginably rough and depriving. Dana and the rest were starving to death and there was no water to be seen. Most of them were sick and wounded and according to one of our volunteers who went there, utterly horrifying. It was his words that he had to delete most of the photos he had taken because they were so distressing. Dana was suffering badly from exhaustion when she was found and it took several weeks to regain her strength even to stand on her feet.

After two years in our shelter, surrounded with care, attention and decent alimentation, Dana has grown into a lovely, playful, kind and gentle girl. Long was the road of recovery and now she is on the final stretch to find a family who will open their hearts for her and give her the loving and warm hope she deserves.

Dana is neutered and fully vaccinated. We are not sure of her exact date of birth, but she is most likely 4 years of age, perhaps younger. She is great and patient with kids, adults, other dogs, as well as cats. Dana has a lot to give if you want to make her a part of your family. Adoption fee is 1,500, which covers her transport, import fees and all expenses needed for her prep prior to travelling.
