Meet Barzik!

Barzik is a sweet male cat who can be a little shy when meeting new people. But, there's a very simple secret to winning him over: pick him up.

The moment Barzik is in your arms, his worries seem to disappear. He starts purring, settles in, and reminds you just how much affection this gentle boy has been waiting to share.

Barzik also has a very special soft spot for kittens. In fact, his best friend is a young cat named Snow, who isn't quite old enough to make the journey from Azerbaijan with him. just yet. The two share a beautiful bond, and we've included a photo of Barzik and Snow together in his photo carousel so you can see their friendship for yourself. It's truly heartwarming.

Because Barzik and Snow are so close, we're hoping to find an adopter who might consider welcoming them as a bonded pair. Snow will be ready to travel when he's old enough, and we'd love nothing more than for Barzik to have his best friend waiting for him when that day comes.

If adopting two cats isn't possible right now, we still hope Barzik finds a wonderful home of his own, but if you're open to welcoming Snow into your family when he's ready, you could give these two best friends the chance to grow up together.

Barzik is ready to find the person who will give him the little bit of patience he needs, scoop him into their arms, and discover the purring, loving cat hiding behind that shy first impression.

Barzik is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for adoption.

Adoption fee: $200 to help offset Barzik's international travel costs.
