About Cardi

Meet Cardi! This sweet, resilient mama comes all the way from Cairo, Egypt, and is ready to leave her past behind and find the loving forever home she's always deserved.

Cardi's story is one of remarkable strength, devotion, and survival. A Husky/Baladi mix, she gave birth to her puppies entirely on the streets, doing everything she could to keep them safe in an unforgiving world. She was eventually discovered sheltering her newborn babies beneath a tree while locals were attempting to harm them. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in just in time, bringing Cardi and her entire litter of five puppies to safety.

Now nearly 4 years old, Cardi has spent her years in the shelter patiently waiting for her turn. Her puppies have all grown up, and now it's finally time for this incredible mother to have a chapter that's all about her.

Despite everything she's endured, Cardi remains a quiet, gentle, and deeply loving soul who blossoms with kindness and patience. She is good with other dogs, enjoys human companionship, and has a calm, sweet presence that makes people fall for her quickly. She would thrive in a home with patient, loving adopters who appreciate just how far she's come and are excited to show her what it means to be truly cherished.

After years of sacrifice, survival, and putting her babies first, Cardi deserves a warm, safe place to finally exhale -- a soft bed, a full heart, and a family to call her own.

If you're looking for a loyal companion with a beautiful spirit and an extraordinary story, Cardi may be your perfect match.

Cardi is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and is fully ready to begin her next chapter.

Adoption fee is $700, which helps us continue rescuing and caring for other dogs in need.
