Rue 🇺🇸

Rue comes all the way from Azerbaijan, a former Soviet republic where many animals are mistreated or left to survive on harsh streets. We rescue them and fly them to the United States so they can finally experience safety, care, and the bright future they deserve.

Rue has an incredibly heartbreaking story. Locals were having a bonfire and decided to be the most cruel humans and threw innocent Rue straight into the fire. A person nearby witnessed this and rushed into the fire to save Rue. They took Rue to us. Unfortunately, Rue lost one of his eyes during this. He has made a full recovery since and now lives in the shelter. We are desperately trying to give Rue a family that he so deserves. He faced unimaginable cruelty, but is still the sweetest guy.

Rue is good with people, cats, and dogs.

Rue is spayed, vaccinated, and ready for adoption.

Adoption fee: $500 to help offset Rue's international travel costs.
