Figgi 🇺🇸

Meet Figgi! This handsome, affectionate boy has overcome more than any cat ever should, yet his gentle spirit remains as sweet as ever. Figgi comes all the way from Azerbaijan searching for a forever home where he can finally experience the love, comfort, and security he’s always deserved.

Figgi’s story began in a heartbreaking place. He was discovered wandering near a filthy dump site, surrounded by trash, sharp thorns, and debris. Thin, neglected, and suffering from a serious eye injury, Figgi was desperately in need of help. Thankfully, rescuers were alerted to his situation and rushed to bring him to safety. Despite the terrible conditions he had been living in, this brave little boy had somehow managed to survive.

Once at the shelter, Figgi received immediate veterinary attention. Sadly, numerous thorns had become embedded in one of his eyes, causing irreversible damage and leaving him without vision in that eye. He was also covered in fleas, a heartbreaking indication of the neglect he had endured. Even more puzzling, Figgi was found wearing a collar, suggesting he may have once belonged to someone. Whether he was abandoned or simply lost, we’ll never know, but one thing is certain: Figgi deserved so much better.

Despite everything he’s been through, Figgi has remained an incredibly sweet and affectionate soul. He hasn’t let his difficult past take away his ability to love and trust. Instead, he continues to show just how resilient and forgiving animals can be. His limited vision doesn’t define him, and he has so much love left to give to the lucky family who welcomes him home.

Figgi is approximately 2 years old and has a wonderfully gentle and loving personality. He would make a beautiful companion for someone who appreciates a sweet-natured kitty and is willing to give him the care and attention he deserves.

After surviving abandonment, neglect, and unimaginable discomfort, Figgi deserves nothing more than a warm bed, gentle hands, and a family who will never let him down again.
